The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, announced in Paris the commitment of 26 countries to provide security guarantees for Ukraine. These guarantees will include a strong Ukrainian army and a military presence of the states on Ukrainian territory. Specific details will be established in the coming weeks, and the USA has confirmed participation. The guarantees will be ratified in the parliaments of the 26 countries and will also include a political component related to Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
