The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Bulus Yohanna, announced that approximately 253 people, including 12 staff members and teachers, are still in the hands of the abductors, following a recent attack on a school in Nigeria. In the aftermath of this incident, a number of students managed to escape on Friday and Saturday, and parents rushed to the school to check if their children had been released.

The attack is part of a series of abductions that have forced the closure of schools in northern Nigeria, and the government has ordered the closure of 47 colleges in the region to protect students.
