In an unusual incident, a two-year-old boy in the village of Bettiah, India, managed to kill a cobra that attacked him after he threw a stone at the reptile. The snake coiled on his hand and the boy bit it to death, but temporarily fainted from the bite. He was taken to hospital, where doctors confirmed that the effects of the venom were moderate, and the cobra died from the wounds caused by the child's bite.
