During the annual Fête de la Musique festival on Saturday night, 145 people in France reported being pricked with syringes, leading to the arrest of 12 suspects. Authorities are investigating whether the needle sticks were linked to drugs used in sexual assaults. In Paris, investigations were launched after several young people were affected and 14 participants suffered serious injuries. The festival attracted millions of people and police detained more than 370 people for various offenses.
