Ilfov County Council is collaborating with the Fundeni Clinical Institute in a national project for the prevention of chronic liver diseases, offering citizens free access to screening for early detection of conditions such as viral hepatitis, cirrhosis or liver cancer. The project includes information campaigns about liver risks and the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and people with the disease will receive free treatment. The County Council will coordinate local activities to support the initiative.
