Alexandru Rogobete, Minister of Health, said that the irregularities found at the Floreasca Hospital's Burn Center are of a criminal nature, including the lack of HVAC ventilation system, contrary to official documents. The presence of Candida auris was also confirmed and the hospital has suspended admissions. Following the inspection, fines were issued and the management was asked to resign. The hospital management explained that the patients affected by Candida auris are not infected but carriers, and isolation measures have been taken.
