The anti-cocaine vaccine, developed by researchers at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, aims to produce antibodies that bind to cocaine when it is taken. This would make it harder for the substance to pass through the bloodstream to the brain. The vaccine would try to inhibit the brain reactions that trigger the craving.
