On World Health Day, the head of the Obstetrics-Gynecology Clinic at SUUB, Monica Cîrstoiu, emphasized that 60% of teenagers do not monitor their pregnancy properly, which leads to severe complications. The hospital is faced with complex cases, including minors giving birth, with an increased number of patients with complications. The prematurity rate is over 15%, and the importance of prenatal and postnatal care has been emphasized by WHO representatives in Romania.
