Opinion poll INSCOP Research, conducted on election day for the General Mayor of the Capital, presented on Informat.ro at 21:00

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, INSCOP Research will conduct, with the support of Informat.ro, a telephone opinion poll on election day. The results of the sociological research will be publicly presented for informat.ro at 21:00. The poll will be representative of the non-institutionalized population that declares that: they have their residence or domicile in the municipality of Bucharest, are 18 years old or older, and have participated in the vote. Data will be collected through telephone interviews, the research not being an exit poll, the sample and margin of error will be announced after the completion of the poll.

INSCOP Research has made the best estimates of the voting intentions of Romanians residing in Romania (excluding the diaspora) at the last presidential elections, using telephone polls on election day. According to the INSCOP poll conducted on May 18, 2025, 55.8% of the poll participants stated that they voted for Nicușor Dan in the second round of the presidential elections, while, according to the official election result, in Romania, Nicușor Dan was voted by 55.16% of those who participated in the vote. The difference between the INSCOP estimate and the official election result was approximately 0.6 percentage points. Additionally, according to the INSCOP poll, 44.2% of the INSCOP poll participants indicated George Simion, while the official election result for the AUR candidate was 44.84%. The difference between the INSCOP estimate and the official election result was also approximately 0.6 percentage points.
