First of all, three ministers from the same party (USR) are at the top of the visibility ranking of Government members, in the last week, according to data processed and analyzed by NewsVibe, a media monitoring platform supported by AI. The analysis captures the online exposure of the ministers, with the exception of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, whose presence is generally significantly superior to that of other Cabinet members. The evaluation takes into account both the number and impact of mentions, as well as the main themes that generated public interest, alongside the dominant tone of conversations in the digital space.
The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu (USR), rises to the first position in the ranking of government members present in online conversation during the period of September 17-23. In the previous week, she was ranked third, but the simple motion submitted by AUR, as well as various political positions in this context, including from some representatives of PSD, propelled her to the top in terms of visibility in the digital space.
She is followed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Țoiu (USR), who benefited from increased visibility due to her official visit to the United States, where she participated in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly and had meetings with American officials. She also stood out for her reaction to the violation of Estonian airspace by Russia.
In third place is the Minister of Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu (USR), whose visibility increased following statements regarding the multinational exercise Dacian Fall 2025 (DAFA 25), as well as messages regarding drone challenges from Russia.
Deputy Prime Minister Marian Neacșu (PSD) remains in the last position in the ranking, at the same level as the Minister of Culture, András Demeter (UDMR).
In comparison, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan (who is not included in the analysis) recorded over 3,300 mentions, but not much more than the total of other Government members. The Prime Minister remains, however, the reference point for comments and debates about the Government and governance.

TRENDS IN MINISTERS' VISIBILITY. Although he is in second place in the mentions ranking (just like the previous week), Minister Moșteanu is on a downward trend. The tone of conversations regarding him is balanced. Minister Bogdan Ivan (PSD) is also notable, as he rises in the ranking and records an increase in visibility, against a rather negative backdrop of conversations. He spoke about the risk of closing coal-fired power plants and about the negotiations he is conducting on this subject with representatives of the European Commission.
PUBLIC TONE BAROMETER. The sentiment analysis highlights the name Diana Buzoianu, which appears in both positive and negative contexts (the latter being somewhat more frequent), in a landscape dominated by the simple motion submitted by AUR against her. References to Oana Țoiu were marked by a negative tone, against the backdrop of controversies related to her post condemning the assassination of Charlie Kirk, but also of comments regarding President Nicușor Dan's decision to entrust her with representing Romania at the UN General Assembly. In terms of online conversation about ministers, there was also a negative tone regarding Russia and AUR.
In the category of ministers mentioned in a positive context, the name of Alexandru Rogobete (PSD) stands out, who announced that by the end of this year the first modules of the new Health Insurance IT Platform (PIAS) will be available and had an intervention on the topic of debates related to paracetamol, emphasizing the need for an official position from the Romanian Medicines Agency and the European Medicines Agency.
The sentiment analysis conducted by the NewsVibe platform is based on artificial intelligence tools to automatically determine the tone of discourse in the online environment associated with various entities. The present analysis focused on all mentions related to the ministers of the Romanian Government.
