In the last 24 hours, the public's interest in Romania has focused on major football matches, as well as on economic, educational, and mobility issues.

Searches for Digi, Digi Sport 1 live, Digi live, Prima Sport 1 live, and Flashscore were fueled by the Champions League evening, when Atlético Madrid qualified for the semifinals of the competition after a 3-2 aggregate against Barcelona, despite losing the return leg 1-2, while PSG won at Anfield against Liverpool, 2-0 and 4-0 on aggregate.

In domestic football, attention shifted to names and clubs from the Romanian leagues: Mirel Rădoi remained a point of interest, CFR Cluj came to the forefront after parting ways with Islam Slimani, Universitatea Cluj attracted searches by consolidating its position as leader, and Corvinul Hunedoara was followed after the 2-0 victory against Chindia Târgoviște.

The economic zone was supported by inquiries about the National Bank of Romania, euro, tax, work, the National Agency for Fiscal Administration, and emergency ordinances. The interest comes both from the BNR's announcement regarding the research on the wealth, income, and expenses of households, as well as from the pressure of the April 15 deadline for the unique declaration and the 3% bonus.

Education and the calendar generated searches through phrases such as April 15, April 17, summer vacation, and Minister of Education, against the backdrop of students returning to classes on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, after the Easter break. In the same area, curiosities about customs from the third day of Easter also emerged, indicating seasonal interest in rules and traditions.

Aviation and energy completed the picture: Wizz Air remained visible through network news and operational changes, while the terms airplane, airline, KLM, airport, and booking were linked to travel plans for the summer season; simultaneously, searches about oil, Lukoil, diesel, Engie, the Ministry of Energy, Nuclearelectrica, and nuclear energy indicate attention to costs and energy security.
