On Sunday morning, a powerful explosion occurred at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, around 1:00 AM (00:00 GMT), causing minor damage and smoke observed in the area, according to eyewitnesses. The spokesperson for the Norwegian police, Mikael Dellemyr, confirmed that the explosion affected the entrance to the consular section of the embassy. Although the search for the perpetrators of the incident is ongoing, the police stated that no other explosive devices have been found nearby. Currently, no casualties have been reported, and the police are working with the embassy to clarify the situation. The embassy and the U.S. State Department have not provided immediate comments.
