On December 18, 2025, the weather will be predominantly overcast, with persistent fog in most areas of the south and east of the country. 15 counties in Moldova, Dobrogea, Muntenia, and Oltenia are under warnings for dense fog, and visibility will be reduced. Maximum temperatures will range from 4 degrees in foggy areas to 14-15 degrees in hilly regions. In Moldova, the south and north of Muntenia will have some sunshine, but also fog, with maximums of 9 degrees. In Transylvania, clouds will increase, and temperatures will reach a maximum of 8 degrees. Oltenia will experience a damp and cold atmosphere, with low temperatures in the low areas. In Bucharest, fog will persist in the morning, and the temperature will reach 9 degrees. In the mountains, the weather will be colder, with precipitation in the Apuseni and Eastern Carpathians. Temperatures will remain above the normal for the period, but a cooling is expected over the weekend.
