Romanian Waters announced that the pollution wave has diluted 4 km from Lake Lugaș, but continues to spread. Analysis showed exceedances for the indicators Iron, Manganese and Zinc. The warning was issued after a tunnel collapse in the Cornițel mine, possibly caused by an earthquake. The pollution process could be exacerbated by precipitation.
