Fine of 10,000 lei for the disposal of waste on green spaces, applied by the Environmental Guard

The commissioners of the Galați Environmental Guard conducted an inspection at a construction site in Tecuci, where work was being carried out for the insulation and energy renovation of a building. The checks revealed serious issues related to the management of construction waste, with clear violations of legal norms being identified. The waste was deposited directly on green spaces, which contravenes environmental regulations. Local authorities are now faced with the responsibility of taking appropriate measures to remedy the situation and prevent such practices in the future. The Environmental Guard will continue to monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and the protection of green spaces.
