On January 8, the weather significantly cools down in Romania, with snow and sleet in most regions. In Banat and Crișana, temperatures drop to -7 degrees, while Dobrogea remains warmer, with 10 degrees on the coast. The wind intensifies, reaching speeds of up to 70 km/h, and the precipitation is varied, including rain and sleet. In Moldova and Muntenia, the maximum temperatures stop at 2-3 degrees, but the wind makes the perceived temperature lower. In the northern part of the country, the weather is even colder, with snow and ice risks. In Transylvania, frost and strong blizzards are expected in the mountainous areas, while in Bucharest, the maximums reach 2 degrees, with snowfall and strong winds. At night, temperatures will drop to -5 degrees in the capital.
