Millions of young people in the EU will be able to vote for the first time in June's European parliamentary elections.

Data released by Eurostat shows that more than 400 million people are eligible to vote in the June 6-9 European Parliament elections. According to the Spring Eurobarometer survey, 51% of young people aged 15-24 are interested in the elections and 48% consider it extremely important to vote. The main topics of interest for this age group are climate change, the fight against poverty and support for the economy.
