The Permanent Electoral Authority has announced that voting for the second round of the 2025 presidential election will begin abroad on May 15, with the opening of the Auckland, New Zealand, polling station. Romanian citizens in the diaspora can vote in any of the 965 organized polling stations, 15 more than in 2024. Voting will take place over three days and details of turnout and results will be available online.
