In the first seven hours after polling stations opened in Romania, 5,623,250 Romanians voted. Of these,3,290,606 were in urban areas and 2,332,644 in rural areas.



At 2:00 pm, the turnout in Romania for the current elections was 31.26%, compared to 25.16% in the first round of the 2025 presidential election and 26.
