In the first five hours after polling stations opened in Romania, 3,671,518 Romanians voted. Of these, 2,143,493 were in urban areas and 1,528,025 in rural areas.
At 12:00 noon, the turnout for the current elections in Romania was 20.41%, compared to 16.75% in the first round of the 2025 presidential election and 16.60% in the second round of the 2019 presidential election.
Current election turnout is 3.66% higher than in the 1st round of the 2025 presidential election and 3.81% higher than in the 2nd round of the 2019 presidential election.
Current turnout is up 5.82%.
