After several members of USR decided to withdraw her political support, Elena Lasconi remained silent during the national office meeting. In a Facebook post, she criticized PSD and PNL, and in an internal message she revealed that she was under pressure to withdraw from the presidential race. Lasconi said she would not withdraw and accused that the elections were annulled because of her, claiming that Nicușor Dan would be a "puppet" to the PNL. Recent polls show a drop in support for her, with only 4-5% of the vote.
