<p>Former President Traian Băsescu criticizes in harsh terms the vote cast by the majority of Romanians living abroad. He describes the attitude of the diaspora as "dishonest", pointing out that, by their vote, Romanians living abroad risk pushing Romania to become, along with Ukraine, "a buffer zone between Russia and the European Union".
