After almost two months of chaos in schools, the Minister of Education, Daniel David, announced that he is considering modifying the decision regarding the hourly payment of teachers, which has decreased from 75-80 lei to 30-40 lei. This measure has generated discontent among teaching staff and has contributed to the personnel crisis in schools. The minister mentioned that an increase in hourly pay will be included in next year's budget, but did not specify an exact amount.
He also emphasized that it is essential to unblock positions in education, considering that the system has implemented the necessary reforms. David stated that he will discuss these measures in the context of the budget for the next year, which will be discussed at the end of November or the beginning of December.
