In an unstable economic market, young Romanians make inappropriate academic choices, according to data from studiu.ai. A Eurostat study places Romania last in the EU in terms of the percentage of higher education graduates, and one third of them do not work in their field of study.

Over 45% of young people drop out of university, influenced by external factors. The highest dropout rates are recorded in history and veterinary medicine, while medicine and dental medicine have lower rates.

Wrong choices cost the state and families over 3 billion lei annually. The platform studiu.ai, founded by Andrei Pantelimon, provides clear data to help young people make informed career decisions. The portal allows for the comparison of specializations and the assessment of the risk of replacement by AI.
