Romania won one gold, four silver and three bronze medals at the second International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad in Beijing.

Romania excelled at the second edition of the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad, held in Beijing from August 2 to 9, 2025, winning one gold, four silver and three bronze medals. The eight Romanian students, divided into two teams, competed alongside 310 participants from 63 countries. This is not Romania's first success in the field, having also won distinctions at international competitions in 2024. The country is also represented on the organizing committee of the Olympiad.
