This reform is considered the most important in recent years for the Romanian scientific environment, taking place in the context of internal and international crises. At an event dedicated to the Romanian scientific diaspora, organized by Babeș-Bolyai University, Daniel David emphasized the importance of an adequate structure to ensure quality in education and research.
The reform will include an evaluation phase, already initiated, followed by the restructuring of the academic architecture, with the aim of integrating the best international practices. The minister invited the diaspora to actively participate in this process, emphasizing that, despite the crises, there are opportunities for development. Scientific activities will continue until November 7, 2025, with the participation of national and local authorities.
