Teachers of modern German, involved in the development of new school programs for high school, announced that they have revised the program project after criticizing the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) for the lack of real collaboration.

Sorin Giurumescu, former general inspector and president of the Association of German Language Teachers in Romania, emphasized that the initial project was published without the working group having access to the complete document. He mentioned that the incoherent structure of the program suggests that even the person responsible in the ministry did not review it in its entirety. After a meeting on December 8, the teachers began to work intensively on a new version of the program, mentioning that the effort is voluntary and does not represent a work obligation.
