Eighth-grade students who participated in the National Assessment simulation 2026 will find out the results on Monday, March 30. The tests, held between March 16 and 18, included Romanian Language and Literature, Mathematics, and the Mother Language and Literature for students from minorities. Of the over 173,000 students, 145,200 participated in the Romanian test, while 144,300 took Mathematics, according to the Ministry of Education. The grades will not be publicly displayed but will be communicated individually by schools, and their entry in the register is done only at the written request of the student or parent. Educational units will analyze the results and will prepare a report for the school inspectorate, which will include remedial measures in case of unsatisfactory results. The National Assessment exam is scheduled for June.
