Vrancart, a producer of cardboard and sanitary paper listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the symbol VNC, reported an individual loss of 8.4 million lei for the first half of 2026, compared to a loss of 10.5 million lei in the same period last year.

On a consolidated level, the group recorded a net loss of 5.1 million lei, down from a loss of 12 million lei in S1/2025. Operating revenues were 161.7 million lei, down 19% compared to the previous year, due to a decrease in revenues from contracts with customers and the volumes sold. However, expenses decreased from 209.1 million lei to 170.4 million lei.

Representatives of Vrancart emphasize that operational efficiency measures have led to a positive operational result, significantly improving performance compared to the previous year. The main shareholder of the company is the Lion Capital fund, with 76.3% of the shares, followed by Pavăl Holding with 17.3%. Vrancart's market capitalization is 194 million lei, after an 18% decrease in shares over the last year.
