The National Energy Dispatcher within Transelectrica estimated a maximum consumption of up to 7,400 MW during the evening peak, following the Energy Command coordinated by Secretary of State Cristian Silviu Bușoi.
In the context of forecasted temperatures between normal and heatwave values of approximately 36°C, Transelectrica ensured that the energy situation is under control, with available production capacities operating at high levels, compensating for the unavailability from the CNE Cernavodă. Additionally, import capacities remain within normal parameters, without anticipating issues in electricity supply.
Favorable meteorological developments in Central Europe, such as the rains in southern Germany, could contribute to an increase in the Danube's flow, positively influencing energy production in Romania. Authorities are constantly monitoring the situation to ensure the safety and stability of electricity supply.
