The expected inflation rate for the next 12 months has decreased to 6.26%, with 75% of participants anticipating a reduction in it. Additionally, 83% of respondents expect a depreciation of the leu, with an anticipated exchange rate of 5.2045 lei for one euro in the next 12 months. Economic growth expectations for 2025 have been reduced to 0.6%, and for 2026, growth is estimated to be below 1%. The anticipated budget deficit for 2025 is 8.3% of GDP, and public debt could reach 62% of GDP in the next 12 months. Regarding the real estate market, 54% of participants foresee stagnation in residential property prices, and 67% believe that these are overvalued.
