The government is preparing an ordinance to modify the salary increases scheduled for 2024, with certain sectors exempted from the increases.

Government sources say certain sectors, such as education, the National Health Insurance House and the National Tax Administration, will not receive additional salary increases in 2024, although the increases were originally planned. Thus, teachers' salaries will remain with the 20% increase, while spending will be frozen across public institutions.
