In a public document, the Fiscal Council, led by Daniel Dăianu, states that the Ciolacu 2 Government presented an unrealistic estimate of the budget for 2025, by overestimating revenues and underestimating expenditures. It warns that the target budget deficit of 7.04% is far from reality, being confirmed by analyses from international institutions. The government has allocated insufficient funds for essential ministries, which reflects poor budget management.
