The 40 million euro investment in the new Trade Register portal has turned out to be a failure, with serious security and accessibility problems. Even Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu praised the platform at the launch without knowing the real problems. Testing the platform has revealed security holes and malfunctions, and fixing them will further increase initial costs.
