Alexandru Nazare: The budget comes into effect and begins the most important stage: responsible execution

The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, announced that the state budget and the social insurance budget for the year 2026 have been published in the Official Gazette, thus marking their entry into force. Nazare emphasizes the importance of responsible execution, considering the complicated international context characterized by market volatility and geopolitical tensions.

He highlighted that discipline in execution and consistency in decisions will be essential to maintain budgetary stability. The publication of the budget provides predictability for institutions and the economic environment, ensuring the continuity of projects and the payment of social obligations. Additionally, the budget will allow investments from European funds, a crucial opportunity for development.

President Nicușor Dan signed the decree for the promulgation of the budget laws, and the Constitutional Court rejected the AUR challenges, thus facilitating its implementation.
