Tarom's interim CEO Costin Iordache said the company's losses have been significantly reduced from an average of €55 million a year to €18 million. The company has accumulated losses of almost €300 million over the past six years. The only way out of the difficult situation was the state aid approved by the European Commission. The restructuring plans include a debt write-off of about €49.53 million and a capital injection of €45.77 million.
