The Bucharest Transport Company (STB) has initiated the procurement procedure for six automatic systems for operating the cranes, with an estimated value of almost 4 million lei. Acting Mayor General Stelian Bujduveanu emphasized the need to automate the cranes in order to improve public transport, which currently depends on manual actions. Tenders are expected by August 4, and the new systems will be installed in areas with heavy traffic, bringing benefits such as reduced waiting times and smoother traffic flow.
