In Europe, the prices of goods and services differ significantly, with Switzerland having the highest prices at 184% of the EU average, while Turkey is the cheapest at 47% of the average. Indices such as real individual consumption and final consumption expenditure help compare costs. Luxembourg and Denmark are among the most expensive countries in the EU, while Romania and Bulgaria are the cheapest. Western European countries generally have higher prices than Eastern European countries.
