Retailer Shein posted sales of GBP2.05 billion in the UK in 2024, marking a 32.3% year-on-year increase, strengthening its market position. The UK subsidiary reported a profit of £38.25 million, up 56.6%. The company opened new offices and organized various events to attract customers. However, its competitive advantage, based on duty-free deliveries from China, is threatened by pending legislative changes.
