The police and prosecutors conducted 62 searches in Bucharest and in the counties of Ilfov, Brașov, Harghita, Mureș, Suceava, Satu Mare, Cluj, Bihor, and Alba, as part of an investigation into tax evasion. The administrators of some construction companies are suspected of having recorded fictitious invoices in their accounting from 2021 to the present, totaling 14 million lei, for purchases from cloned companies. The estimated damage caused to the state budget is approximately 4,800,000 lei. Following the action, six people were detained for 24 hours and will be presented to the magistrates. The investigation continues under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office next to the Bucharest Tribunal.
