Romania's GDP was unchanged in real terms in the first quarter of 2025, but grew by 0.3% from a year earlier.

According to data published by INS, Romania's GDP was RON 375.773 billion in Q1 2025, unchanged from Q4 2024, but up 0.3% from Q1 2024. Seasonally adjusted showed an increase of 0.6%. Agricultural and industrial activities did not contribute to GDP growth, while construction made a positive contribution. Household final consumption fell slightly and gross fixed capital formation increased.
