INS: Romania's GDP for the third quarter of 2025 is estimated at 518.092 billion lei, with a real growth of 1.7% compared to the third quarter of 2024

In the first nine months of the year, the economy grew by 0.9% on a gross series and by 1.5% on a seasonally adjusted series. For Q3 2025, the seasonally adjusted GDP is estimated at 486.793 billion lei, down by 0.2% compared to the previous quarter, but with a growth of 1.5% compared to Q3 2024. Additionally, the GDP for the period from January 1 to September 30, 2025, has been estimated at 1.416 trillion lei, with a growth of 1.5% compared to the same period in 2024. Analyzing contributions by sectors, agriculture and construction recorded growth, while trade had a larger contribution to GDP. However, financial and real estate activities did not contribute to GDP growth. Regarding the uses of GDP, household final consumption expenditures increased significantly, while gross fixed capital formation decreased.
