From June 10 to July 4, 2025, Romanians can invest in Tezaur government securities, with maturities of 1, 3 and 5 years and annual interest rates of 7.20%, 7.55% and 7.90%. These securities are available both online, through the Ghișeul.ro platform, and at State Treasury units and post offices. Income from these investments is tax-free and the securities are transferable and can be redeemed early. The funds raised will be used to finance the budget deficit.
