Surveys show that the majority of Romanians live from one month to the next, facing difficulties in saving and investing, being vulnerable to financial fraud.

According to recent surveys, the majority of Romanians perceive their monthly salary as a form of survival, with only 19% having the capacity to invest. Fear of risk, lack of money, and insufficient financial education keep them away from the investment market, and 33% fail to save after expenses. Almost 67% have been approached by scammers, and 30% have lost money due to financial fraud. Investment preferences lean towards real estate and bank deposits, but only 33% understand how investments work.
