Rheinmetall-Victoria SA will be the most modern company in the world for double-based powders, investing 400 million euros, including 120 million from Romania.

Armin Papperger, CEO of Rheinmetall AG, announced that Rheinmetall-Victoria SA will become the most modern company in the world in the production of double and triple base powders, essential for defense forces, especially in Europe and Romania. The company will build capacities for 60,000 loads, equivalent to 300,000 modular loads, thus becoming one of the largest manufacturers of artillery systems.

The total investment will exceed 400 million euros, with 120 million euros from Romania and 47 million euros from European funds. Papperger emphasized the importance of integrating Romania into the European and NATO ecosystem, mentioning that this project will create thousands of jobs and will allow for the expansion of production for medium caliber and tanks.
