MidEuropa sells the Regina Maria and MediGroup healthcare network to Mehiläinen. Record transaction in the medical sector in Central Europe.

Costin Tărcilă, Managing Partner RTPR, announced the completion of a record transaction in the healthcare sector, the sale of the Regina Maria network and MediGroup by MidEuropa to Mehiläinen, the largest private healthcare provider in Finland. Mehiläinen, with over 115 years of experience, operates in five European countries and has over 890 clinics, serving 2.2 million clients annually. The transaction, signed in March 2025, is valued at just over one billion euros, strengthening MidEuropa's international expansion strategy. This follows the sale of the Profi network to Ahold Delhaize, demonstrating investment opportunities in Romania. RTPR assisted MidEuropa in the legal aspects of the transaction, highlighting its importance in the medical sector in Central Europe.
