Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that in 2025, public investments totaled 137.5 billion lei, representing 7.2% of GDP, the highest level in the last 5 years and in the post-December history of Romania. Of these, 56% came from European funds. In the first half of the year, investments were 50.4 billion lei, and in the second half, 87.1 billion lei. Bolojan emphasized the efficiency of using European funds, rigorous budget planning, and prioritizing investments as key factors for this success. The Ministry of Finance updated the list of significant projects, with 195 monitored projects, having a total value of 457.7 billion lei. Among these are the highways A7, A1, and A8, the construction of regional hospitals, and the expansion of the metro network.
