Radu Miruță highlighted the problems in the national defense industry, where production lines have been overrun by trees due to a lack of investment for 30 years. He mentioned the opportunity to access 11 billion euros from the EU rearmament program, but emphasized the need for collaboration with major international manufacturers to develop new production lines in Romania. Miruță warned that Romania will not accept disadvantageous trade conditions that would increase defense costs.
