The OPEC+ alliance has agreed to increase oil production by 547,000 barrels a day in September amid fears over Russian supplies. The decision marks a reversal of previous cuts, bringing the total increase to around 2.5 million barrels a day. Despite the increases, oil prices have remained high and OPEC+ will meet again on September 7 to discuss possible removal of the current cuts.
