Nuclearelectrica has announced the signing of two financing agreements for strategic projects, totaling 620 million EUR, with a banking syndicate led by J.P. Morgan. These funds will support the modernization of Unit 1 and the development of Units 3 and 4 of the Cernavodă power plant, contributing to the energy security of Romania. The projects aim to increase nuclear capacity and ensure clean energy, having a significant impact on the economy and the environment. The total investment value for modernization is estimated at 3.8 billion EUR.
